Now that you have done some research, seen some adverts and analysised a script, its time to produce your own.

Firstly, you must choose the product you want to advertise. It could be a food product, a drink, a perfume, a car, anything you like. Get some ideas from the research section if you need to.

Secondly, you have to choose the celebrity. It could be Hollywood movie-star, pop-singer, anybody famous. Try to think of a connection between the person and the product. There is always a reason why certain celebrities are chosen for certain products. Ringo Starr was chosen for apple drinks because of his name. Celine Dion advertised for Aeon School of Languages because 'Dion' rhymes with 'Aeon'! Remember that the choice of celebrity must match the product in some way.

Next, the concept. Think about what the celebrity could be doing in the advert. Is it 'wacky' like the arnie advert?, or serious like the Kevin Costner one. What about the location? A Movie-set, a photo-shoot, something completely different? Its up to you.

Finally, write the script. Use the T.V. Commercials you viewed to give you ideas. The script can be a couple of words like Mel Gibson's 'My reason', or a whole dialogue like the Nicolas Cage commercials. Remember that most commercials have a slogan too

For example:

Product: 'Gatsby' Shaving Foam

Celebrity: Brad Pitt

Concept: Brad Pitt is on a movie-set and has to shave his 'designer stubble'. At the end he appears in cowboy costume (maybe on a horse), turns to the camera, and says (slogan).

Script: When I need a clean shave, theres only one choice.

Gatsby gives me the smoothness and control I need for the whole day.

(slogan) 'Gatsby. For the man in you.'

Are you ready?!! Now it's your turn. Good luck!
